ORFA 65th Annual Professional Development Program and EXPO
Event Cancellation

Toronto, March 16, 2020 - The health and safety of ORFA members, staff, instructors, and training partners continue to be very important to us. We have been closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 since January 2020 and have issued updates on February 3rd, March 9th and on March 11, 2020.

Given the most recent COVID-19 developments, and projected future impacts as suggested by public health authorities, the ORFA, in an abundance of caution, has decided to cancel our 65th Annual Professional Development Program and EXPO scheduled for Sunday, April 26 to Friday, May 1, 2020 at the University of Guelph.

The ORFA is committed to rescheduling all courses offered at this event over the coming months. If you have already registered for any of these cancelled courses, you have two options:

  1. Request a full REFUND or,
  2. Request a TRAINING CREDIT (valid until December 31, 2020). The training credit may be used towards any upcoming regional course offering or the June 7-9, 2020 Recreation Facilities Emergency Management Forum.
