The course fees cover all costs associated with course delivery in Ontario (e.g. instructor fee, learning materials, instructor accommodation/travel/meals etc.). Training fees for courses delivered outside of Ontario maybe higher due to additional travel/accommodation and learning materials shipping expenses. Such additional fees will be calculated on a per case basis, as required.

All the courses have a maximum class size of 30 participants. The Basic Arena Refrigeration course requires access to an arena refrigeration plant for 30 minutes on Day 2 of the course. The Ice Making and Painting Technologies course requires access to an ice sheet for hands-on paint demonstrations and participant practice on Day 2 and 3 of the course. The Ice Maintenance and Equipment Operations course requires access to an ice-surfacer for the participants to practice circle checks on Day 2 and Day 3 of the course. This course does not provide for hands-on, ice resurfacer driver training.

The Advanced Refrigeration Facility Operator and Recreation Facility Environmental Systems courses are charged at the regular ORFA member rate and require a minimum class of 15. There are no reduced, in-house rates for these courses.
