ORFA Director of Training, Research and Development Terry Piche is joined by senior TSSA staff members Joelle Feliz and Sonny Silva who oversee compliance to the Amusement Devices Act. Municipal waterslides are an exciting addition to any aquatic facility however, the care and control of these “amusement devices” requires an understanding of the Act and, related roles, responsibilities and limitations associated with compliance.

• The role of TSSA in ensuring public safety when using amusement devices.
• Clarifying roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders associated with the Act. 
• What to expect when a TSSA inspector arrives on site. 
• The pathway towards becoming a waterslide mechanic.
