The Ontario Recreation Facilities Association (ORFA) is currently seeking a replacement for a regional vacancy on the Provincial Research and Development Advisory Committee (R&D Advisory Committee). The current vacancy is open to interested members who reside in the North Region that wish to confirm their interest in appointment to the committee for the 2025/26 duration period.
The following expectations are provided as a summary of your commitment as a regional representative and industry leader:
- As outlined in the Committee Terms of Reference (Note: Available to interested applicants only) the Committee will represent the membership through fair and equal inclusion of regional representatives and ORFA partners who are actively employed in the industry.
- Appointments will be for the period of two (2) years, aligned with the current ORFA Board of Directors term of office.
- The Committee will meet on a regularly established schedule at least every four (4) months in a virtual format.
- All Committee members acknowledge and will apply the ORFA Member Code of Conduct, to help create safe, welcoming recreation environments for learning, sharing and leading.
