Violence in the Workplace Workshop

Every April is Violence in the Workplace Awareness month. ORFA members have been sharing a rising tide of risk surrounding user behaviours, an increase in individuals using recreation infrastructure as recreation facilities being used by homeless people as well as ongoing internal conflicts within the workplace. This workshop is a strategic analysis of regulatory obligations followed by an overview of operational tactics that can be considered when designing an internal policy, procedures and training pathways. The workshop will offer a short final assessment that can be added to an employees training file to help prove the operations commitment to the subject matter.
