The Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support, known as Threads of Life, is a Canadian registered charity dedicated to supporting families after a workplace fatality, life-altering injury, or occupational disease. Our network of family members and corporate partners believes traumatic workplace injuries, occupational diseases and deaths are preventable. Shirley Hickman who lost her son in an ice arena tragedy was the seed to this organization.

CSA B52

The CSA B52 Mechanical Refrigeration Code published a new edition in 2023. Additionally, the B52 Committee is active in developing tools to assist those responsible for safe operations and management of industrial refrigeration equipment. Our guest will provide an overview of the latest edition of CSA B52, detailing how the code is designed to guide interested parties and outlining the current focus areas.
