The ORFA has been active in developing tools and training pathways to assist our members in improving compliance through ongoing education and awareness. Plant owners need to consider the importance of having competent, responsible persons in care and control of the industrial refrigeration equipment they own. ORFA provides a balance of education through the Certified Arena Refrigeration Plant Technician (CARPT) designation pathway that assists owners in their duties to have appropriately trained staff in place. However, the ORFA provides all the necessary tools for a self-directed learning opportunity. This session will highlight how ORFA members can be better prepared to ensure compliance is being met.
