Recreation operations continue a trend of inheriting cemeteries as churches close and the operations and management of these facilities are legally passed to the community they are located in. For more than 25-years, the ORFA in partnership with Barnes Cemetery Training and Consulting Services, has offered an in-depth training program to assist those who are tasked with operating, managing and administrating these facilities with dignity, respect and compliance. George Barnes will join ORFA staff to discuss the current obligations, trends and challenges associated with cemetery operations.
