As Ontario's industrial refrigeration plant rooms age, the proper maintenance of these devices for operator and public safety becomes an important part of the plants emergency preparedness plans. Both TSSA and the MLITSD have a stake in inspecting for these key devices and have advised ORFA that the inspection by both their frontline staff will be a priority. This session will share what both agencies are responsible for inspecting and what plant owners and operators should be performing byway of inspections, operator training and lifecycle management.
