Candidate Profile - Western Region

I am a dedicated Facility Manager and Supervisor with over 14 years of experience in the recreation and facility management sector. Throughout my career, I have served with the Goderich Huron YMCA, the Township of Huron Kinloss and currently with the Municipality of Kinkardine, as the Facility Supervisor. I have consistently focused on excellence in facility operations and community engagement.

As a passionate advocate for the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association (ORFA), I am deeply invested in promoting leadership and best practices with the recreation facility profession. We recently hosted a Basic Arena Refrigeration training course at the Davidson Center in Kinkardine. My involvement with the ORFA reflects my commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided in recreation facilities across our region.

I believe in the importance of fostering a safe and positive experience for all community members. I take pride in actively engaging with the public to ensure that our facilities not only meet but exceed expectations of the communities we serve. I have been a member of SWORFA for the past 12 years and have enjoyed networking with other Recreation Professionals.

Looking ahead, I am excited at the prospect of being a voice and leader for the Western Region, working collaboratively to elevate standards and enhance the overall community experience in recreation facilities.
